Finally got SR3. And the season pass. Season pass worth it for 6 bucks?
They seem kinda desperate to sell this. It goes on sale all the time. It's a pretty good game for the duration of the storyline though.
This game was decent, but it just didn't live up to the second one. Worth 13$ though
This game was decent, but it just didn't live up to the second one. Worth 13$ though
The moderately dumbed down customization saddened me, and the campaign was greatly shorter, but for 13 bucks SR3 is totally worth it, especially if a friend has it.
I loved the game even though SR2 was superior in alot of parts, lasted me 100+ hours. Would recommend getting it, with or without DLC.
Figures this happens right when I'm low on money. If anyone's interested I've got a spare copy of Nuclear Dawn I could give for it.
saints row has been on sale so many times i would almost expect most people to own it
Coop is incredibly fun if you have a good friend to play with. I've played the whole game through twice and I enjoyed every minute of it. It's certainly not the best game ever, but it's pretty damn fun.
SR2's on sale too, do you think I should get it if I already have SR3?
I just did, so I'd say go for it
SR2's on sale too, do you think I should get it if I already have SR3?
SR2 is really fun as well. Get it too if you can.
SR2 is poorly optimized, though.
SR2 is horrible beyond words on the PC. Everything is faster than it should be and the UI is clumsy as hell with its keyboard centrality.
Oh it's super fast on PC? That actually explains my first playthrough :v:
SR2 is horrible beyond words on the PC. Everything is faster than it should be and the UI is clumsy as hell with its keyboard centrality.
The speedup shouldn't happen if your CPU is around 3.2 GHz. SR2 is leagues ahead of SR3 in almost every way and the Gentlemen of the Row mod makes it even better.
The speedup shouldn't happen if your CPU is around 3.2 GHz
lol thats a big fuckup
I am pretty sure you can get a mod to fix the super speed though.
lol thats a big fuckup
Yeah, the 360's CPU is at 3.2 GHz and the farther you get from that the faster it runs. Never happened to me when I had my E7400 at 2.8 GHz, although apparently it only happens on Windows 7 and I was running Vista. This is supposed to fix it.
so i assume then that vanilla saints row 2 calculated time wrong and did it based on 360 specs rather than a proper time calculation.
There should be some huge, community-made overhaul patch for SR2 It's a much better game than SR3 so don't let the vanilla issues stop you
SR2 is horrible beyond words on the PC. Everything is faster than it should be and the UI is clumsy as hell with its keyboard centrality.
The speed part is fixed with Gentlemen of the row mod + powertools, made by FPer IdolNinja. [editline]8th October 2012[/editline]
SR2's on sale too, do you think I should get it if I already have SR3?
SR2 is superior in terms of customization and city itself, you can choose from so much more in SR2, like if your shirt should be tucked in or not, if your jacket should be closed or open, logos on T-shirts you can choose yourself and shit.
