• Annoying spam e-mails

I started receiving e-mails trying to scam my WoW account, without me even playing WoW. I never played WoW, and I got e-mails trying to scam something I don't even own. So I replied to one of those e-mails. I don't remember what I replied I think that doesn't even matter, the problem is ever since I sent that reply, I have been getting about 30 e-mails every day saying "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)‏". An example of one:
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed. cartmean@web.de --Anexo da Mensagem Reencaminhado-- From: noreply@blizzard.com To: cartmean@web.de Subject: Account Registration Information Date: Mon, 26 Apr 2010 01:10:09 +0800 Greetings, An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account in question is being sold or traded. As you may not be aware of, this conflicts with Blizzard's EULA under section 4 Paragraph B which can be found here: WoW -> Legal -> End User License Agreement and Section 8 of the Terms of Use found here: WoW -> Legal -> Terms of Use The investigation will be continued by Blizzard administration to determine the action to be taken against your account. If your account is found violating the EULA and Terms of Use, your account can, and will be suspended/closed/or terminated. In order to keep this from occurring, you should immediately verify that you are the original owner of the account. To verify your identity please visit the following webpage: http://www.battle.net/account/support/login-support.xml Only Account Administration will be able to assist with account retrieval issues. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and your continued interest in World of Warcraft. Sincerely, Account Administration Blizzard Entertainment
And I get in every e-mail a different failed e-mail. In the example above it's "cartmean@web.de", but I currently got 2 more of those e-mails and in them the e-mails differs, they are "xgeorg2000@yahoo.com" and "albytchawula@optusnet.com.au". How can I stop this spam? [editline]08:27PM[/editline] I only sent 1 reply not about 30 replies per day.
Looks like you hit: Reply to all. Meaning you sent a message to everyone in the noreply@blizzard.com list. You will keep getting these mails until you have gotten a reply from all failed deliveries. (could be thousands)
Seeing as you don't play WoW, you could just block all emails from blizzard.com
Seeing as you don't play WoW, you could just block all emails from blizzard.com
How can I block them? I've been searching for this feature for some time. [editline]07:31PM[/editline] Oh great, just got an e-mail about Verifying an Aion Account without playing that either. :v:
The original spam email likely has forged headers, so the email address that it looks like it's coming from is fake. The link to battle.net is also likely fake with a redirect to some other site to try and get you to login and steal your account credentials. The only thing you can really do is ignore the spam emails and delete them.

Like GiGaBiTe says, they're just phishing for your account details.
