Hello, just wondered if anyone have had any experiences owning a medion erazer lappy? Like these newer ones: http://www.medion.com/gb/cat/Gaming-Laptops/gamer_notebooks I am thinking about swapping my MSI GX740 for one of these, but haven't really heard much about them, and can't find anything on google except for a few reviews on older models. Also if you heard good or bad things, slap it up in a post please saying you heard rumors and what was wrong :) Thanks :)
You'd be better of buying a PC Specialist laptop. http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ Great support and value for money, I'm not sure if I'd trust the quality of Medion. Also I have a £30 off voucher for PC Specialist valid until the end of Jan, so PM me if you want that.
Oh, very generous of you.. but sadly I won't be buying from a UK shop seeing as I live in Denmark, did that before, it was a desktop and it was cheap compared to prices in Denmark.. I got it from overclockers.co.uk, but it now freezes on playing games and stuff, out of warranty etc. So I won't be doing anything about it. :) You'd be better off saving that voucher for yourself in the future. But yes I have the same concern about quality of Medion, a few friends never had problems with their 3+ year old medions, some became mail machines (always problems, getting repaired on warranty) all the time.. Tho I have never had any problems with my MSI, neither have any of my friends had problems, it's just that if I want the same specs in a MSI that's pretty much standard in a Medion Erazer (gtx 670m, i7 3610qx, 8gb ram etc.) it's like £300 more expensive. :)
Aha I just guessed as you linked a site that was in £. If you can buy an extended warranty for the Medion then it would probably be worth the investment, £300 is a huge amount more for the same specs.

But I am kind of seeking someone who's had one for a year or something :)

I repair laptops, and the only Medion laptops I have had in have been user error (mostly broken DC jacks)
Ah that's interresting, can I ask you (since I'm open for trying different brands) which brand you see the most? :)
I get a large amount of older dell inspirons, and acers make up a large proportion of broken machines. Contrary to what a lot of people here seem to say, I don't really have much in the way of HP's, but I still wouldn't reccomend one for the type of laptop you're looking for. Also this company appears to sell the same laptops as PCs (they are just resold Clevos) http://www.mm-vision.dk/produkter/visgruppe_notebook.asp?action=shop&menu=notebook&gruppe=PcnoteVision&type=notevision
Thanks for the link, didn't realise mm-vision made their own, I'll look into some reviews and opinions about them on danish forums :) looks promising EDIT: Didn't see you said they are resold clevos, are clevos reliable etc.? and how about cooling in those, good or bad? :)
