Okay well I'm not exactly sure weather to put this into Windows or Tech Support so I'll just put it here since its more windows oriented. After about a minute of being idle my monitor will go into power saver mode like it would ~10 minutes after the screen saver turned on. It also unmutes my sound. I really have no idea how to fix this, I checked the power save settings for the monitor and I set it to never but it still didn't do anything.
It may also help to know that I recently added a new processor (i5-720) a new motherboard, and ram. I did not reinstall Windows because windows booted after I started the comp and took over, it seems that everything is in working order except this one little problem.

Oh it also seems to completely pause everything like its in sleep mode.
