I just got a few apps on Appulo.us, and normally it's just an .ipa that I load into iTunes and sync my iPod to.
These were a .zip with a folder called "Payload".
What exactly do I do with these?
You should be using something like installous with appulous. Installous is an app you can get by jailbreaking.
I do, but it runs slower then a retarded kid on a turtle for me so it's easier to just go onto the site and sync it manually.
Either way the things come from Appulo.us
But a website can't install stuff for you which is what installous does.
I just tried getting it, and it said it failed to decompress it.
Then your ipa file is likely corrupt.
Payload is a game with a sort of truck, you need to catch the falling rocks etc. I got it a few weeks ago, legal.
No, don't open the .zip. Rename it from AppName.ipa.zip to AppName.ipa.
It'll work.
Well, if you ask from a software POV, a payload is generally an program packaged with an exploit. The exploit gets into the system and the payload is the actual harmful program.
Don't know this case tho'.
Facepunch is not your warez support center, try asking about your illegally downloaded apps on the Hackulo.us forums.

They have the apps that are available for free on the site as well.
And the .ipa isn't corrupted because there IS not ipa.
I'm trying renaming it to .zip.ipa to see if that does it.
