[sp]Imagine watching the ship being consumed by the huge typhon while you're stuck on the moon.[/sp]
Keep in mind that this comes right after Bethesda announced the date and time of their 2018 E3 presentation.
I really hope this is a teaser for an expansion, Prey is my 2017 GOTY and I definitely wouldn't say no to more.
I wonder if they will ever somehow connect it back to the original prey

Something tells me that if they planned on it they wouldn't have called it "Prey."
add multiplayer for the sole reason that they can put "multiprey" on the menu again

Which translates to "Post: LLO 51.61°, 24Km, 165km, 113.65 minutes@KasmaCorp", which is currently the description of the Twitter account. Since this started before the Prey Twitter began teasing the Moon as a location I think it's probably legitimate. I don't think this is tied to E3 though, it's way too early in the year for teasing an expansion reveal at such a major event and Death of the Outsider was first announced at E3 with no prior info AFAIK.
Please give me more Prey. Personally, I have loved all of Arkane's games.
Awesome. I thought this game was DOA.
it was one of the best games of 2017 though
it was one of the best games of 2017 though
It was incredibly forgettable though, nobody was talking about it a month after it came. I finished the damn thing and I didn't even remember playing it until this article came up.
prey 2017 fucking owned, i would buy an expansion that takes me to the moom
Prey 17' was far from a perfect game, but it had a ton of charm, and I'm happy to return to that universe. Bring it on Arkane.
it was one of the best games of 2017 though
Yes, I agree. I have played it four times so far.
I said I thought Prey was DOA because its sales figures were reportedly poor.

It's likely going to use a ton of the same assets, and base engine as Prey 17', which makes development much cheaper. It'll probably also be an 'expandalone' that doesn't require the base game, meaning they can get a larger consumer base to buy into it.
I don't remember the last Arkane game I didn't love.
Quick reminder that we have a thread for Arkane Studios in General Games Discussion, if anyone wants to breathe some life back into the thread.

Reminder that there's a subquest plot point of [sp]leaking shit to other companies[/sp] so I wonder if KasmaCorp is a competitor and we'll be on their moon base or something. I'd dig it.

Yeah, KasmaCorp is a competitor to Transtar. The Twitter and Reddit accounts are pointing at a lunar orbit though, so maybe it's [sp]Argus Installation/the dark station, assuming they aren't one and the same[/sp].
More of the best game of 2017? Don't mind if I do, Arkane!
I was super disappointed by Prey 2017 but I'm not sure I'd call it a bad game as much as it was flawed, so I'd be open to an expansion.
I don't remember the last Arkane game I didn't love.
Same but this just reminded me that their last expansion, Death of the Outsider, was a pretty big disappointment. Hopefully they have learned from their mistakes on that one.
