My Broadcom 802.11n network adapter has poor performance

I got this laptop recently, and i've been having issues with the network adapter where it randomly disconnects or has a limited connection because it can't connect to the default gateway or there's a "problem with the wireless adapter or access point"
The signal strength only gets 2 or 3 bars and i can't really watch videos in 480p or sometimes even 360p, some games are also difficult to play, like Team Fortress 2 will be running smoothly, but then i'll get some lag spikes with some minor teleporting or i'll freeze in place for a bit, but in games like Rocket League, i can't connect to US East servers despite living in the east coast and my latency in US West servers usually range from 90 to 200 which result in varying amounts of teleporting and unsteady camera movements (unless it's locked to the ball)
I've tried updating the driver for the adapter, but that only caused more constant disconnects to happen, i've tried manually entering my IP and DNS information into my network's IPv4 properties, and disabling the option that shuts off the device to save power, but my attempts at a fix either stopped working the next day or didn't work at all
This is my internet's speeds in it's current state

I'll have to look into that, thank you
However, i've never had to open a notebook before, the bottom doesn't have a door for where the network adapter would be, it's just all one big piece of plastic with a bunch of screws in it
Is it an easy enough process to just unscrew the bottom, replace the adapter, screw the bottom back on and it's all good? Or do i have to be concerned about other parts becoming loose like the keyboard and such?
The only thing I don't like about the 7260AC is that the bluetooth kinda sucks and drops out a lot and isn't compatible with hackier things like Wiimotes or Wii U Pro controllers so don't really expect to rely on it
Otherwise it's a pretty great card that I have stuck in literally every computer I own
the bluetooth kinda sucks and drops out a lot
My laptop comes with the Bluetooth software, but i can also use the bluetooth dongle for my headphones, would that make a difference since it's like a sort of 'external' method rather than using the built-in stuff?
Due to the amount of WIFI routers that are around today, a lot of interference is going on between them. This causes connection quality to suffer dramatically.
My laptop used to be able to get full signal 4 rooms away, but now it has 1 bar in the same room. (Same laptop same router).
This can be fixed by getting a router that is on an uncommon band (like 5ghz)
