Does anybody know if it's any better these days with all the expansions? I can get past having no open world if it finally became good.

Like all games with gameplay expansions (Sims, Civilization, any Paradox game ever) it won't be great until the last expansion.
I'd wait until Pets and Seasons come out eventually.

Also btw you need exactly 0 of these "Stuff Packs". These packs are just items & clothes and like one new feature (bowling in this case) so they're just $9.99. The name holds more weight than it actually has.
stuff packs are garbage
game packs are less garbage
I want everything from Sims 2 straight up ported to Sims 4. I think Sims 4 is the best one of the bunch, but it just lacks the kickass shit 2 and 3 had. Get on it EA, damn
Cities: Skylines needs to do their own version of The Sims so i no longer need buy shitty Sims or SimCity games ever again.
