Sorry if this should be in a different section.
I need to burn a .mkv video file as a DVD, but I cant find a burning software that can burn .mkv's. Does anyone know one?
Or
I might convert the file, except Apparently if I convert an .mkv to an .avi, the video and sound turns to shit and it's then worthless, so does anyone know what file type to convert to where I won't lose the quality?
Thanks.
ConvertXtoDVD.
Is that free?
The trial should work fine. I bought it and i've been using it for years.
I use AVI2DVD (http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareAvi2Dvd.php) for burning MKV video files. It lets you choose which audio stream you want and it's 100% clean and freeware too. You should check it out, I've never had any problem burning MKVs with it.
Nero Trial comes with NeroVision and i have burned many MKV to DVD with great quality. The end Result is flawless. Dual-layer DVD-R's look even better.
