I'm looking for either an ATi or NVidia graphics card for ~500-600 DKKR ($100-120)
Is it possible to get one with 1000 MB VRAM? That'd be great, thanks guys
PS. It's for my mate, not me.
We need to know the computers specs, can you link us to his computer model?
We need alot more information before we just send you away with a graphics card.
How big is the case? How many watts does the PSU produce?
Also, the rest of the specs.
1gb vram doesnt mean that its a card that can game very well :colbert:
Exactly, i was about to build a gaming computer for my brother with something like the GTX 260, then my grandfather heard about it, and he bought a Dell with a GTS 220.
I think you can get an ATI Radeon HD4850, HD4870 and for a little more you get a HD4890 (~150€).

What is your current computer made out of?
I had a Nvidia Gerforces 8400 and I could play Crysis low
Then I bought a XTS 2500 and I could play Crysis very high
Alright, thanks guys, I'll give you some more information tomorrow.

But the computer does have PCI-E right? (yeah, sadly we can't get the 4850, Denmark and hardware will never be good friends when it comes to prices)
Both those cards should work with almost any power supply as they're not using much, and they do give a fine bang for the buck.
Getmore is usually the best place to get them, other places I recommend is Komplett, SHG or pc-lageret.
wait till the January sales, get them much cheaper and means you will be able to get a better one
