So i got some questions.
What is jailbreaking? Is it like putting a OS on (It is what i think)
Is it easy?
Does it need space?
And is it fast?
I might think about jailbreaking it
Jailbreaking is enabling features on your iPhone/iPod that Apple doesn't want you to.
Yes it's easy.
About 200MB, I think it needs.
It slows down the phone a bit. I wouldn't say it makes it too slow.
Don't jailbreak it if you don't know half of these questions you just asked.
Don't jailbreak with Iphone 3G on 4.0. Slows it down horribly. I have to live unjailbroken because my phone would crash every ten seconds in apps. Reverting to 3.1.2 doesn't work either.
It's a IPod Manning, but will it work fine without slowing down on a 3G 8GB?
Providing you're not running iOS 4 it should be fine.
The 3rd Gen 8GB iPod Touch is practically a modified 2nd gen, and would perform worse than the actual 3rd gen models. Just don't install too much Mobile Substrate crap on it, and you'll be fine

Funny, it's made mine more usable, though the jailbreakme.com jailbreak does under perform when you compare it to the Redsn0w one. Plus you can't install iDroid with the Jailbreakme one :v:
Just install the right things and you can free up any RAM that is being wasted easily, I even enabled Multi-tasking and mine is still fine.
