Every time i go on a program like microsoft movie maker my screen gets this little glitch.

Do you know how i can fix it without restarting my computer?
Open the Task Manager to the Processes tab
Find explorer.exe and end it
File>New Task
Type explorer.exe and hit OK
Note: This will kill most running programs as well, so don't do it with anything running,

It will kill all open explorers, but not any programs.

It does if you end process tree.

That is different to "closing most running programs".

Which isn't the same as ending ONLY explorer.exe like cyberwarrior suggested.
