Holy shit it's nothing but loaded questions putting the guy on the spot.
Complete misunderstanding about how mods saved Dark Souls.
Lack of mod support? I don't think anyone was expecting DSII to have mod support to begin with. Even DS1 had 0% mod support.
It would be nice if they made textures easily replaceable for those that want to tweak them though.
I had fun cheating on the original dark souls, but i never dare invade in other people' s realms to protect them from getting a bad experience, I stick to my realm and only my realm and enjoy playing though the game without having to rage.

Wasn't the modding for DS1 just to make it not control like shit on PC
We have found that it is difficult to eliminate all types of cheating on the PC platform, and ultimately we hope that players pick up the game and play with honor
Heh, right. [editline]25th April 2014[/editline]
Wasn't the modding for DS1 just to make it not control like shit on PC
There was a couple of mods like the one which made everyone aggro on you, make the game harder, etc.
whoever held this interview is a bit of an uninformed cunt these questions seem to have some other hidden agenda
Wasn't the modding for DS1 just to make it not control like shit on PC
Nope. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ikOqJ.jpg[/t]
Wasn't the modding for DS1 just to make it not control like shit on PC
The guy who made DSFix also added some wizard shit to replace textures. Also the lack of solid cheat protection meant that users could fuck around with the game files to their hearts content, so last year people finally started to properly 'mod' the game by changing around values.

You want to bow? You want to play by your own little rules? Fuck you, have pyromancy and a hornet backstab.
Hopefully, the rampant hacking shouldn't be as much of a issue as it was in Dark Souls 1, at least in my understanding of it. The thing is, the same "hacking" was used to lengthen the game, such as the aggression mod.
