• Samsung Vibrant S - Battery Meter is Inaccurate
    6 replies, posted
I was able to buy a second-handed phone from a store at a good bargain, but I have noticed the problem the phone is that the battery meter on the top bar is very inaccurate. While the phone status from settings says 75%, the battery meter on the top bar looks like 90%. Is there any way to fix this problem? I've updated to the latest Android OS and hasn't solved anything yet.
The graphics looks like it's 90% or it displays 90% in numbers?

The graphics do not update real-time. Think of it as in it's not an animation, but a few pictures of fully charged, 85% charged, 60% charged, etc (not the real values) states.
There are apps that will show the actual percentage for you.
If you notice that your battery suddenly cuts out at 10 percent or something you'll probably need to delete the battery stats. There's also the possibility that your battery is severely fucked up and you should call Samsung for a replacement battery.
"Samsung Vibrant S" I think it's because you bought a device that doesn't exist.
