Is your computer overheating? Do you really need that fan?
Is your computer overheating? Do you really need that fan?
no I don't need it but it's too late to return it to the shop so i might as well stick it in my pc
If you don't REALLY need it then dont put it in also , I dont see any place you could put it^^
I thought it could maybe go by the drive cage but my ATX cable is in the way :saddowns:
A BTX case... :cawg: If you don't have any overheating issues, set it aside for later. Those LED fans are crap quality anyways and the bearings will be wailing at you soon enough. Edit: It's poor design to not have a dedicated fan for the hard drive cage. iATX? When the hell was that released?

If there is a fan infront of the hard drive cage (red) put the fan on the other side (yellow).
I was going to do that but the 24-pin ATX cable is in the way (green)
So move it?
If you don't have anywhere useful to put it, than don't. Poorly placed fans will harm instead of help.
Strap it to the heatsink.
Can I haz it to replace my Intel heatsink fan which is jammed in one of my vents please? Promise not to troll this time.
Put in on your head pointing backwards. You can walk faster this way.
i managed to get it to fit behind the cable but it's too noisy, so i'll buy a fan controller :Dawkins102:
