http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130561&cm_re=gtx_480-_-14-130-561-_-Product Just came across this thing and I don't know what the fuck to think of it.
I'm pretty sure that card is meant to have watercooling on it.
Oh shit it is. Never mind guys, my terrible mistake.
I was expecting to see something with a heatsink the size my head. I was dissapointed
it's just a water cooling ready version.
What if i pump air trough it.
I was expecting to see something with a heatsink the size my head. I was dissapointed
I don't even think that would be enough.
I find this is ridiculous. $200 for a pre-fitted watercooling block? No thanks.
someone will buy it.
I don't even think that would be enough.
I have a big head :smug: :frown:
Depends on what "head" you're talking about.
What if i pump air trough it.
You'd have to pump quite a lot of air through it for it to cool down fast enough.
Depends on what "head" you're talking about.
I lol'd.
Wait till someone buys this then bitches about it burning out.
Wait till someone buys this then bitches about it burning out.
Wouldn't the GTX 480 boils the coolant and evaporates it instantly??? :smug: EDIT: Idiots can't tell what a sarcasm is...
I find this is ridiculous. $200 for a pre-fitted watercooling block? No thanks.
you're thinking in a very strictly confined box. a GOOD gpu water block, which EVGA's always are, run for about $100 at the least. then you have to void the warranty, so if you fuck it up, it's another 500 or so for a new card, if this thing dies on you, it's not (entirely) your fault. that's what you're paying for, a pre-fitted watercooling block and a valid warranty.
I rated you boxes and laughed.
