Poker Night at The Inventory might not get any custom opponents

I've noticed that the poker game with familiar characters uses an engine that is way different from Valve's engine, so it doesn't use .MDL files. There's something I have to ask: Is it true that Poker Night at the Inventory will NEVER get any custom or fan-made characters? But if it IS possible it would probably be like putting in hacked characters, stages or so into Smash Bros. Brawl (File Replacement with .ISO hacking, never done it before however) except that they won't use .PAC or .PCS things and this poker game doesn't come as a disk or any crap like that.
