Hey, so I reinstalled Windows, and now the speakers wont work. It appears as a question mark in device manager.

And so I think a need a driver. Also if it helps, the speaker jack is weird, instead of the usual green one, its orange, and separate from the green, pink, and blue ones.

So thanks in advance.
Any advice at all?
! means theres a problem with your driver, and your operating system. Reboot your machine. If that fails, try updating your driver for that machine.
get drivers.
I dont have the CD that came with it, and I dont see a company name on the speakers, so what should I do?

Don't look at the speakers, look at the soundcard.
But it doesnt use a sound card, theres a small cable that goes right to the motherboard.

no, for the system to put out sound, and for it to know to put out sound. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A DRIVER.....every technical guy knows that(Unlike people that arn't techs, :P)

Well smartass instead of TRYING to be smart you could have told him this:

If windows update can not install a working driver try looking for a drivers pack disk. Example: XTreme DriverPack. These driver packs hold (UAA) High Definition Audio drivers that might work.
