So sitting here browsing FP and facebook, suddenly tons of windows pop up about viruses, NOD32 has shut down (brilliant...) and some media player malware starts installing itself, I kill that in the process window. The problem I have now is in C:\Users\Maximus\AppData\Local\temp\newtmp\syslogin.exe, that .exe isn't being deleted or cleaned by NOD32, it just comes up with "error while deleting". 95% sure that that syslogin.exe thing is unwanted, so anyone have an idea how to get rid of it?
Try booting in safe mode and remove the file.
Posting from iPhone, deleted it and virus scanning now.
Well virus seems to have gone, or at least nothing comes up on a scan. Only thing now is that every so often in firefox a new tab opens trying to access traffcontroller.ws/somestupidlongurl, noscript blocks it from anything nasty but the title says viagra and all that crap. Nothing harmful right now that I can see, but would be nice to get rid of this. I'm thinking of an anti-malware program, which is a good one?
Good, this is what I read, If Syslogin.exe is located in a subfolder of "C:\Program Files" then the security rating is 100% dangerous.
Try malwarebytes - http://www.malwarebytes.org/.
What did you download to get that? Or dont ya know?
Boot off of a CD and run Trend Micro Housecall.
What did you download to get that? That is my best guess, as ED was the only remotely questionable website I visited. Never downloaded anything, which is why this is strange.
Use protection. Don't download porn. It's something like that.

Downloaded Malwarebytes and Spybot S&D for good measure, not sure why I didn't already have it on this comp. Scanning with them now but getting some weird problem where a website I'm reading has random words that link to a weird searching website. Australia in my last post links to http://searchseeking.com/?query=Australia, not going anywhere near that link. Thanks for the help, these scanners should get rid of the bastards inhabiting my system.
spybot is so 2004.

(three days ago.) Only difference, is that i bluescreened after like 15 seconds, and i haven't been able to turn it on since. Now i just wonder how i'm going to reinstall Windows XP again, without using a CD/DVD drive.
What site do you mean with ED?
Encyclopedia Dramatica (.com) (fucked up Wikipedia full of memes.) Some guy linked me to an artice there, and even though i have AdBlock Plus, i suddenly got shitloads of popups and some blue window popped up. I tried to kill some processes, and i failed to open up AVG (it got blocked by the virus?). Then i suddenly bluescreened. Now, if i try to turn the computer on again, it instantly bluescreens when the windows icon shows up.
Format.

Well, my computer died pretty fast, so there was little i could do. Can i reinstall windows using a USB memory stick? because the HP mini doesn't even have a CD/DVD drive.

If it doesn't boot from it, check if there's a boot menu in your BIOS.
Ah, okey. I was afraid i had to buy an external CD/DVD drive.
