uhh you might want to stay away from prebuilts building a computer is not half as hard as some people claim, I built my first computer in ~1.5 hours, so I don't know what's so hard or time consuming about it
Thanks that looks good. He likes it but wants to know if there are any good prebuilts because his parents aren't buying it for him so he wouldn't be the person who has to go through the trouble to "build" it.
Prebuilds would cost more for no good reason (Think $50-80). Computers are incredibly easy to build with a small selection (Read, no more than two screwdrivers) of tools.
also it's a good experience, and imo computer literacy begins with building your first computer

The main reason is profit. They have to at least try to make money. Not break even.
OP PM'd me, apparantly his friend want to build a computer because he isn't paying for it, which didn't make sense to me but he said he will talk to his friend regardless.
Theres a reason. Labor, expenses, taxes, shit like that. The main reason is profit. They have to at least try to make money. Not break even.
Right, but I mean spending more money for no good reason when they're so easy to build.
Right, but I mean spending more money for no good reason when they're so easy to build.
You'd be surprised how many people don't think they can/are too lazy to build their own. It's ridiculous, just stick around this section for a while and look at the "Wanna Prebuilt" threads.
