i wouldn't blame any devs for being afraid of their games getting pirated and trying to prevent that unless their reasoning is extremely shitty. not everyone uses denuvo because they're intentionally supporting shitting on consumer rights or something.
at least they said they're gonna release it without DRM when it gets cracked.
Don't fucking use Denuvo if you want to "protect" your game. All it accomplishes is associate your title with the plethora of games that run denuvo and coincidentally had completely trash performance.
It's an absolute trash heap of a DRM solution with a fitting reputation.
