Eastern Mechs or Western Mechs

Eastern meaning=Gundam, Robotech and so on.
Western meaning basically Battletech and Mechwarriors although I'm open to others.

Personally, Battletech, and I mean the first generation or "Unseen" versions which were based of similar concept art to the Robotech mechs, without the transforming.

Nice, Armored Core. It may be Japanese but it very much is a similar style to Battletech. I don't mean to lump it in since its developed in Japan but by East v West I meant styles.

I figured which is why I put both. I actually don't mind the robotech ones, they're not too overpowered. Its Gundam I take issue with in that idea.

I like how Sigint in MGS3 says a mech design is ineffecient because the design is flawed in every way possible compared to a tank :v:

I'm a big fan of all kinds of mechs.

But two of the Eastern mecha have caught my eye the most.

The MS-18E Kämpfer (Featured in Mobile Suit Gundam: War in The Pocket):

Yeah, I know what you mean. Some of the Gundams look ridiculous (especially in the anime) but then again there are some weapons that look stark and simple yet ridiculously badass.

That's a Gouf, sir. A fine upgrade to the Zaku, nearly destroyed that damned Prototype-Gundam. Too bad Zeon decided not to tweak it a little bit more. I bet the Gouf Custom or even the Gouf Ignited would have crushed the Prototype if they developed and deployed them sooner.
