Wireless isn't working, even though it says it's connected.

I've been spending several hours trying to figure this out, to no avail. My wireless internet is not working, even though it says the signal is strong. This is affecting all my devices. (Phone, Laptop, iPod)
I've tried renewing my ip address and changing my wireless properties to "Detect IP address automatically" (Which seem to work last time, this isn't the first time this has happened.)
Thanks for reading.
First try to unplug the power from it, and wait oh say 10 secs then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, connect your computer via a lan cable, get your ip address and go to your router. Login or whatever is necessary to dig around the wireless settings. Sometimes changing from 802.11g to 802.11b or whatever can change the connectivity. Plus there's ip leasing, etc.
Which router do you have?
You could try plonking in a LAN cable to see if the DHCP server is even assigning any IP addresses. If it doesn't, then we have ourselves a problem.
You could optionally try to reset the router (normally there is a button you hold in, otherwise check manual).

You have to leave the wireless router unplugged for 30 seconds to REALLY have a effect.

Depends on the router. Again, read the manual.
I tried all of the above, and ended up reinstalling Windows 7. It seems it's a problem with my ISP. Thanks anyways.

Is it your, or your ISP's router? Because IP's are assigned locally.
Try changing your DNS to Google's DNS.
