I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this. As there isn't any other place I'd rather ask. Seeing as how I'm pretty much on the thinnest ice imaginable, I'll take any re-direct of this thread to somewhere else if it's more proper.
Alright, assuming this is an appropriate place to put this type of question, I was wondering;
I found this TV at a store near me;

Although, the only drawback that I'm worried about is.. If I'm just on basic cable, will the image still be 'crystal clear' and such like they describe. Or will it still have static, and crappy display like the 16" CRTV that I have in my room?
I might be buying a PS4, or even a PS3.. I know they'll have an amazing picture. All I'm worried about is if my cable will be decent looking, or if it's just going to be the same as what I have now?
It's depending on the signal strength of your cable, and the strength of the internal tuner,
you might want to spend a couple of bucks on a cable signal booster to be sure.
As far as I know CRT televisions have a better signal than LCDs. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

That's what I was worried about, is that I would have to buy some sort of HD Box from my service provider. Which is just going to cost more by the month.
I suppose a cable signal booster might help, but the actual cable that is feeding from the wall, is probably near 6 years old now.

Oh, your TV cabling in your house is better than ours. Our house is built in 1985 and wiring has NEVER
been replaced in it's lifespan. We even don't have grounded power outlets.

Eeesh. So maybe the image might be a lot more clear on a LCD HD TV?
Or will it just be blurry?
I'm not sure whether to buy it or not. But if I plan on getting a console possibly...
Decisions...
