http://www.lge.com/products/model/detail/gh22.jhtml (You can see the technical information here easier: http://www.itbankeurope.com/GH22NS30RBBB_/ ) vs. http://www.sony-optiarc.eu/products/dvddrivesdesktoppcs/ad5200s.html I have ordered new computer and I have chosen the LG one at the moment. But if I change the drive to the optiarc one I could get my computer faster because the seller doesn't have those LG drives at their storage at the moment. They have slightly different write speeds but I'm not going to write CD's or DVDs every day. Should I take the optiarc drive instead and get the computer about 1-2 week faster?
The Sony hasn't got lightscribe, which means you won't be able to do this But really, They're pretty much the same and if it means getting your PC 2 weeks faster, I'd say go for it. Lightscribe sucks anyway.
Thanks. I changed it to the optiarc one.
If it's a dual lightscribe burn thing which basically means it can burn dvd's on both sides which is useful if you are interested in getting 360 games or selling them.
I own two lightscribe drives and I've only used the feature once. If you want to put covers on cd's get an inkjet printer that supports it, their awesome.
