It's a shame most of the weapons in this game will be experimental SMGs and semiautos that barely, if ever, saw any service. Everything was bolt actions, but, peasant console players will complain about bolt actions, especially since they aren't cawwadoodi hitscan.

In every Battlefield game you've been able to have more of certain weapons than soldiers would actually have been equipped with, and since Battlefield 2 you've been able to have things that they wouldn't even use for real.
Yeah since BF2 both sides are running around with each others weapons. Middle and Eastern forces technology can match or surpass more advanced western ones. I think it would be a valid criticism if it were Red Orchestra or Verdun If BF4 is any indication half the players will be running around with bolt action rifles and missing all the time anyway
