I need a gaming laptop. I live in Denmark, so I have to be able to get it sent here.
My budget is around 500-600£
I have no idea what to get.
For 500-600 pounds you'll struggle to get a 'gaming laptop' although it depends what you want to play; if you only want to play source games then that should be enough. However for £600 you'd be able to buy a reasonable computer if you built it yourself
Already have a decent computer. I need a laptop.

It'll mainly be used for WoW and Napoleon: Total War.
The dell Inspiron 15 is pretty good (Well, heard it is good, Saw some reviews.). I just ordered one. It can run MW2, L4D2 ect.
Thanks. Looks good.
No problem my danish mate. :denmark:
Also, on another note, how good is this for a stationary?
i7 860 2,8ghz
6 gb ram
HD5770
?
I can get it for around 900£. Does anyone know where I can get something similar cheaper? Remember, it has to be shipped to Denmark and I don't want to assemble it myself, because I would probably fuck something up.
It's a good computer, but not a good deal at £900

Everything is quite expensive in Denmark.

you wont fuck something up
that is an excuse for an absolute moron to use.
if retarded fat fingered me can assemble a computer you can too!
I'd just rather pay a bit more and then not have to worry about anything.
There's not much to worry about really
2nd hijacker ahoy.
Does anyone know of a better "gaming" laptop than this for around $1000?
Any other suggestions? Both for the laptop and desktop.

The fact that DR (Denmark's radio) which is denmark's largest TV channel, just had a show about how Dell's support is a bunch of old fags who know nothing about computers, and how they refuse to repair any of your products, and how they tracked down good comments to be from dell employees as the only good comments I'd say don't go with Dell.

Is the best one I could find for 5k, even though the processor's pretty bad, and it's got acer's name on it.
Looks pretty decent. I don't mind if it costs a bit more.
I don't think you can get better for under a kilo more.
Knowing acer, it'll be alright if you're very carefull with it, as in buy a proper bag for it rather than having it in your schoolbag.

Actually a lot of our hardware is cheaper than in other countries.
For example in finland i've heard the prices are skyhigh, and a few european manufactured parts are cheaper here than in america.
Does anyone know any good sites for buying hardware? I wanna see how much I can save if I assemble it myself.
www.edbpriser.dk ?
There's not much to save on a barebone laptop system, and I haven't seen any decent ones for ages.
Best one I know of is some asus one that supports a 8800GTX and a socket 775 processor, and costs around 4,000DKK
I was talking about the desktop :)
[editline]06:36PM[/editline]
Also, what motherboard would support an i7-860 and HD 5770? Preferably quite cheap.
[editline]06:42PM[/editline]
So far I've found this:
Intel Core™ i7 Quad Processor i7-860
XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5
Corsair TX 750W PSU
ASUS P7P55D, P55, Socket-1156
How does it look?
It'll cost me 5127 dkk or 619 £. Seems like a quite good deal to me. Anything I should upgrade?
edbpriser.dk's for hardware and stuff, including for desktops :colbert:
Could a mod move this to PC building and change the name?
I think it'd be easier for you to just make a new thread

Well, i haven't had any problems with them. Alway's repaired all my products, and always had a good service.
Had to go to them anyway to get laptop stuff, as before i was with Medion. Pretty shit company imo. They couldn't fix any of my stuff, had the shittiest support, and known fuck all about computers.
