It is. You are going to have to deal with numpad based controls, but it's not the worst thing ever.
Oh man this was definitely worth $2. Doing battle on the high seas and romancing the governor's daughters. I didn't know I had such a soft spot for piracy.
It's basically Mount & Blade's singleplayer with pirates and minigames instead of knights and technical combat. DEFINITELY worth the money.
