Hey Facepunch. I'm doing a assignment for school and the target audience are teens or adults with divorced parents. I myself was from a family that was divorced and I can very well say my life is really messed up because of it. However I need to find others that are like me to fill out this survey. I can relate very well. I never really bonded with my step dad and he always calls me bastard child in Cantonese. But I do suggest is try meeting your dad for who he really is. Your mom is feeding you her point of view. Your dad might be a jackass but he might not be such a big jackass as you think he is. And 6 months is not alot. I've gone 2 years not seeing my real dad.
