My graphics card is a 4850 while I don't want to go over 160 us dollars. Feel free to suggest anything. Power supply is a 500 watt.

This is exactly what I was going to suggest. Right now, the pricing of the 5770 doesn't really make much sense. Why get a 5770 when you could get a much better 460 for a few bucks more?

Just noticed that is 768 MB, my current one and the one I picked out is 1gb?
It won't make much of a difference unless you're playing a very texture intensive game like Project Reality. Even then it wont be much of a difference.

Go with a 5770, cheap, fast.
What's your GPU? Unless it is the 4830, you shouldn't have that much trouble playing at 1024x768. However I do agree with Reapaninga, get the GTX 460. Also, what is your PSU?

save up some more
Not an option.
well you can settle for a 5770 but you really won't see much of a difference

Doesn't mean shit. The GTX 460 is still considerably faster.
That card is really a waste on that resolution. Get a new monitor instead, the 4850 will suffice.
