http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=17848686 Aside from an OS, does this look like it could fit together properly? Are the parts the best I can find for this price? If anything in this sucks, why?
Get a spinpoint F3 instead of the WD black, use combo deals, look into getting the coolermaster case / psu combo and if you're getting a ATX tower, might as well get an ATX motherboard so you have more slots and stuff. Other than that, it's a pretty standard build and looks good.
If you don't need integrated graphics (which is a nice thing to have), this is a nice, full ATX mobo for a little cheaper, and you can save an additional $15 by combo-ing it with the CPU. The case is fine, but this is also a great case in that price range, and you can combo it with a PSU to save you $25 vs what you picked. The Spinpoint F3 is cheaper than the WD Black and offers similar performance.
