meanwhile some of my local schools here in the US don't even do whiteboards chalk all the way bby
I was a IT Technician at a school once and had to setup and update 60 bloody ipads! took ages!
My brother has a chrome book at school to research. I'm curious how long it will take for his class to Completley fuck up the pcs with adware and Trojans.
meanwhile some of my local schools here in the US don't even do whiteboards chalk all the way bby
It's not like tablets will make the kids smarter. Those tablets were probably designed by people who used chalk not so long ago.

They're locked down and immune to most adware other than crappy Chrome toolbar extensions. ChromeOS runs on Linux so it doesn't have the issue of most malware either.
well seeing as how my school had a "no electronics of any kind" policy, and teachers were nazis about confiscating them and leaving them sit on the desk in an office unguarded all day, i'd say my highschool is still in the dark ages
Damn the kids these days are lucky. All i had in highschool were crappy and obsolete win nt computers which were used for computer classes where everyone had more experience than the teacher. Got kicked out of it one time for playing 3D Pinball out of boredom.
My Freshman year, I HAD to take keyboarding. I could type improperly at 120 words per minute already but not for shit the proper way, so I had to learn the proper way. All that just so I can take Document Creation & Design the next semester, which is all bullshit that was outdated even then. All white blocky text at 400x300 resolution on Blue Screen of Death Blue backgrounds. All that just so I could take Graphic Arts and use Adobe Illustrator 9, which was on a Mac. I've never seen a computer more restricted in all my life Phones barely had color displays at the time. What little we learned tech wise was outdated before we even graduated. And now the world doesn't even resemble what was already outdating us. It's only been a decade, slow down world More schools in the US say Phones and iPads aren't even allowed in class than are, let alone offer them to use
Everyone studying in my county on Gymnasium level gets a free MacBook Air. I can take it home, take it on the bus, anywhere I want. It's also 100% personal meaning that no one working at my school can sneak into it and watch what we are doing. Certain Websites that are NSFW are blocked on my School (Oddly, not 4chan) though, since we are connected to the county Internet at my School.
