It's great that they're done, but equipment running the new standard has already been released and is in production in a lot of places. I guess the remaining stuff is related to software then?
It's a real shame Comcast won't be willing to give these out to regular customers for another 5+ years.

This seems a little bullshit since its most likely including the standard Verizon setup of Fiber To The Home and then using MOCA to deliver connectivity to the Set Top Boxes and routers.
