Hello facepunch,
Recently i've been trying to hook up my 26" television to my desktop computer, but for some reason can't get it to display anything. I've got DVI input on my desktop, and a vga adapter for it if I need. So last night I ran out to wal-mart to by an hdmi/dvi cable, and brought it back and hooked it up to the TV. Nothing displayed. Just black. I flipped through the inputs with the remote and still nothing. Shouldn't it display at least a blue screen or something? My video card doesn't support s-video input, so that won't work. I do have a vga converter box and RCA cables if I need them, as well as a vga/vga cable that will of course be converted to dvi with the adapter, although the hdmi/dvi should work, no? Help.
does your TV have a VGA input?
