SD Card is write-portected even though It isn't in lock position

Have you tried formatting it to a different File System? I think NTFS is the standard for mass storage.

It gives me the same error. "the disk is write-protected."

Try the card in the opposite lock-thingy position if you haven't already.

Sometimes the lock on my SD card moves when I plug it into the slot, check to see that it isn't grinding up the side

Beside that the lock system may have failed

If not there might be something wrong with the file Attributes for the Card.
