Give it to it, the detail is impressive looking.

Prerendered

They wouldn't show pre-rendered stuff of their game at GDC.
Call of Duty: Face. This is what Sledgehammer will use to break into the market.
Look at those textures on that helmet-strap-thing. This should not be something they released as a first image.
yeahhh sure they wouldn't.
It's GDC, not E3 or something, showing stuff that isn't actually something you're making would be pointless.
Doesn't look that good tbh, the model is good but the texture is crap.
that doesn't even look impressive
10 bucks it's still the exact same game as the last 15 or however many there are now.
This is next gen? This is 'current gen almost 2 years ago' level
Next Gen? Suuuuure
It still amazes me what activision call " next gen ", now days its only used as a marketing word honestly
I thought it was amazing how they considered Ghosts next-gen yet it looked worse than MW2 did.
Infinity Ward isn't making it so hopefully it wont be as shit as Ghosts. Definitely not gonna hold my breathe though. But I wouldn't be surprised if Treyarch is the only dev that can make a decent CoD game nowadays.
Oh boy, another reskin.
Even Shacknews are already saying that fans will eat it up.
Had no idea ghosts was still a best seller. Thought the lower number of sales was bigger than ever before.
Try pushing tech to use bigger game worlds, more complex AI and animations that are actually fluid and blend together.
In this day and age of all the fucking things that still exist on next gen, jerky transitions between animations are still prevalent and there is no excuse for it by now.

that is literally one of the most important parts of a 3d game are it's animations and fluidity in gameplay. rarely are there any games that do anything to address that.
Or alternatively, make the games fun in a way that appeals to actual people as opposed to just humans.
I bet they don't even know what nextgen means.
Could we be seeing a return to WWII?
I know there's not much in the picture to begin with, but if that's representative at all of the final product's content, it looks like yet another modern-esque title or a return to World War II from the helmet.
i'm most confused by the fact that there's a 30 second video about one photo
I wonder if the soldiers finally hold their foregrips.
last year was fish ai and dog tech
this year is a next gen NOSE
That helmet almost looks like a USA WWII helmet. Hopefully some WWII shit to sprice up this modern warfare bullshit
Could we be seeing a return to WWII?
In cawadudu Mordern WW2 maybe

They should just go to space and become super-sci-fi with things that are fun and interesting like jetpacks.
So they're just going to start calling them by years now like a sports game?
