Do you like egg nog? - General

Like candy corn, egg nog is one of those things where it seems like people either love it, hate it, or haven't had it. I haven't really met anyone who's been like "if it's there I'll drink it but I won't go out of my way to get it" So what about [I]you?[/I]

I've literally never had it. What's it like, and why would I want to drink it? Edit: Also, do people actually hate candy corn?

Eggnog is best in small doses. Any more than a little glass at a time and I start hating it.

It depends on the brand. But yeah I generally like it.

Can't stand it. The texture and overly sweet taste of it is just grodie to me. My mom is convinced I'll love it with some Captain Morgan mixed in with it but, eeugh.

I like it but never in a large amount. Only about 3 or 4 sips worth per day or two during the holidays is enough for me but I really enjoy those few sips. Reminds me of Christmas when I was younger.

I like it, but I try not to drink much of it since it's really unhealthy

I love eggnog so much I drank a shitload of it one year and got fat. Ahhhh the memories.

I had it once on its own, didn't care for it. I'm told it's better with alcohol.

I've always been curious about this... At least, since I saw it on the Simpsons. That's the only reason I know it exists. In my mind it's an alcoholic drink with a custard like texture presumably made from eggs. In reality I have no idea what it actually is.

I find that regular eggnog is fine, but alcoholic eggnog tastes like frozen paint thinner dipped in Satan's cum. I assume I've just had a bad recipe.

The one time I've had it tasted like liquid ice cream.

I personally drink the latter because I like the taste (and also because I can't legally buy alcohol). It's a bit more runny than custard, and yeah, there's eggs.
