I need to organise my Steam library, but I'm awful at this sort of thing and know nothing of subgenr

If there's anybody out there that knows gaming genres really well, or loves organising, please lend your hand.
I'm trying to organise my Steam library but I have no idea where to start as there are overlapping games and such.
Ignore the categories I've already made, it's awful and I've given up:

Personally I just sort (relatively) by publisher/creator and it works pretty well.

I have over 1130 Games in Steam so I have to organize them somehow.

My list looks like this, but I am not really happy with it.
I don't know what do do with Sports/Simulation since I don't want to drop Arma 3 in there... on the other hand it IS a simulation.
Also, the Anime folder was a great investment, all the cute tiles automaticly make me the most awkward person in the room when we use my Steam acc in big picture mode.
