-OP CHANGED- What is the best graphics card that I can buy for £110 on: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Family.aspx?Menu=1657&worldid=-3
I have a 4830 and personally I think it's a great card... It's just about equal to the 9800 according to bench marks but I think the 4830 is cheaper.
Changed OP. [editline]02:19PM[/editline] Also I can only buy from shop.
What power supply do you have? Buy components from Maplin only as a last resort.. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146705 £53 less for a 4850. And eBuyer do free delivery.. But if you insist on letting Maplin take you for a ride then get this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=264359
Maplins is seriously overpriced, £170 for a 192 core GTX 260, are your parents the sort of people that think if you shop online you get your identity stolen?
170USD would be overpriced for that...
It was reduced from over £200. Maplin is good for shit like transistors and resistors, but not much else.
I Hate computer shops. They overprice everything and a lot of the stuff I've seen in places like PC world is no-branded crap and people still buy things from them.
Its because online stores don't advertise.

They're pretty much the same performance wise, get the 260 and save £8.
Who disagreed with lemongrapes? He's right. The 4870 1GB is slightly better.
I said "Pretty much the same" i.e. the 260 is better in some games, and the 4870 is better in some games, and only by a small amount.
