• ResLoad Notifier v1.4 - Monitor your CPU usage

Hello Facepunch, For those of you who don't remember my last post about this, this is, in short, an application that lets you set warnings according to CPU usage, either about total CPU usage or usage of a specific process. In case you set it to check a specific process's usage of CPU, you can also choose what you want to happen after warning is shown, either bring the app to front or close it. You can also customize the warnings to your needs. Since the previous version it's also possible to set automated warnings. This app could be useful to one that renders stuff on his computer. Many programs do not warn when rendering is finished, or maybe if it takes much time the user leaves the computer render and does something else in the meantime. With this app you can get a notification when the cpu usage (total or of the rendering app) is under 20%, for example, which'll mean rendering is finished... What's new in 1.4: - Main change is that I transfered the whole project to C#, as it was coded in VB before. This took a while... - I also added delayed warnings, "Multi Check" as shown in app. With this, you can set the app to search more than once and then show a warning. This is useful because even if your CPU usage passes the limit you've set for just a second or two, you won't get a warning. Application is open source, full source code can be found in the following link. Sourceforge Page: https://sourceforge.net/projects/resloadnotifier/ I'd be happy to hear of any kind of comments on this.
List of running processes: MOM Why are you running your mom :q:
List of running processes: MOM Why are you running your mom :q:
Haha, it's from Catalyst Control Center, i don't know why it's called MOM.exe though
My friends once laughed at me because of MOM.exe
My friends once laughed at me because of MOM.exe
I never noticed there was such a process running on my computer... So, comments on the app?
I'd use it if it showed individual load on each core and temperatures
I'd use it if it showed individual load on each core and temperatures
I would add these in later version, but I get no feedback so I guess I'll stop working on this...

I've just tried your app, it's kinda good, try to make it show the load visually (i.e. graphs and such), but the Task Manager has the same functionality except from the notifications.

I'd prefer to add more features than edit the GUI. I'm bad with graphics after all. Also thanks for giving it a try, I appreciate it!
Nice work here, I also think that adding graphs for each CPU like Task Manager would be great.
Nice work here, I also think that adding graphs for each CPU like Task Manager would be great.
Thanks! I disagree here, though. The idea of this project is to notify you, not show you the CPU usage like task manager does. So adding graphics is not that necessary, at least for the moment. Also, as I said, I'm bad at Photoshop...
I suppose you're right there. Maybe you could add support for multiple applications instead of just one selected application. (multiple selection in the main listbox and then a button to add it to a watch list?)

Actually, maybe a checklist for processes to watch. Like this.

Maybe I can set to close (or show) if the usage of CPU of each one is higher than a specified value. If that's what you're saying, it's not a bad idea, actually.
This will be useful for the people in technical support who say their game is lagging, without bothering to check that something is using 100% cpu in the background
