Hello all, I'm having trouble partitioning my hard drive. I want to install and dual boot linux w/ windows so I want about a 20 gigabyte partition dedicated to linux. When I go to shrink my current main partition for windows down to make some space for the new one, I get a maximum shrink size of 5 gb (I have 65 gb free). Obviously this is not what I should be getting. After googling around, I discovered that others have had this problem; they recommend third party tools, what do you recommend?
Thank you in advance.
The default partition software in Windows does not allow you to shrink the partition with Windows on it, or at least not fully anyway. I recommend the EASEUS partition software, I've not had any problems with it. Make sure you download the home version
