Hey! I am gonna need a laptop for my studies in a couple of months and I want to buy a Macbook Pro 13 inch, as I already have an iMac and then I am gonna buy a Macbook and it's simply the 13" because of the size of it.. So I was just wondering is the price differentiation worth it? Should I just pick the cheapest?
Processor speed and hard-drive space.
You pretty much named the difference in the title, besides the HD size. Apple has a comparison chart on their site too, but no difference other than what moesislack said...
Higher clock Core 2 duo EWW NOT AN i5 and a bit more harddrive space. If you already have an iMac I would go for the cheaper one, money saved could go towards a nice cover/carry case. You will just be using it for studies, not rendering/graphic work and the like? small performance increase but nothing vast as you can imagine if you went for the slightly higher clocked one.
There is not that much difference. You probably wont even notice the slightly higher clock speed. The only plus is the larger hard drive. The biggest difference is the price. I mean $300 for an extra 70 gigs?
