• Finally - Good Google Chrome Themes

You might recall the butt-ugly Chrome themes that Google released a while ago. Well they've finally released some actually attractive "artist themes". And there are a whole bunch to try out. I have mine set to the nice grassy one right now!
This is suposed to be better somehow? I'd argue they are even more ugly.
I still think they look terrible.
i dont get chrome it starts up really fast for me but closes really slowly
do they allow user-created themes yet? a couple of the new ones look better than the old ones.
None of those are decent.
the default chrome theme is fine anyway
I like some of the old ones but then new ones just look horrible.
I want one that doesn't have colors that blend. On half of them the text on the tabs blends right the fuck in with the color. Also I hate the ones that have the sliver gradient effect. it makes it look so bad. I still think the cool blue and white default theme is the best looking. I'd love to be able to change the colors myself so I can find a color scheme I like!
I have a metal looking one
Some of them are nicer, but most of them are horrible. I wouldn't really use any of them. Vista/7 Aero glass is amazing as it is.
I have a metal looking one
what one? I don't see why you didn't just type the name of the theme.
I love the james white theme, Thank-you this is awesome!
Here are some decent looking ones, which just change the color theme, and don't rape your browser to look like a shitty painting: http://www.freechromethemes.com/# Currently using the Dark Google Chrome Theme. Fits really nice with the default Vista Taskbar.
Horrible, like Personas for Firefox. Seriously, who wants paintings on a desktop application's interface?!
They're not really that good, all they do is change a few colours here and there... :frown:
I like my Aero chrome..
Awesome, Hatsune Miku and K-ON! Themes.
Awesome, Hatsune Miku and K-ON! Themes.
:bang: I'd only use any of these themes if I was using an OS without Aero since they cover up the translucent bit. Thankfully, I have a copy of portable Google Chrome on a USB flash drive which I use at school and in other places where they use IE to the exclusion of all else, so the themes I download shall be used there and there only.
0:48 looks like my grandmother's wallpaper.
They all look like ass, though I'm using the grey scale theme.
The first one looks great in my opinion. The rest don't, however.
Cool, I hope they add more of them soon. Also, how do you delete them?

the mark echo (i know i know, spelling) theme looks pretty fly
I dunno, I think most of them are too damn distracting. Besides, Chrome looks rather sexy in OS X as it is. Dare I say, even more so than under Windows.. *is a sucker for grayscale*
Forgive me for my shitty quick made concept and lazy buttons with no icons, but am I the only one that wishes that the aero would span the whole window with glow or shadow under text (for it to be legible of course):
thats what glasser is for.
Thought glasser only worked with firefox?
