Nuclear power.
nuclear power is pretty good imo but it is not worth the environmental stresses.
abortion.
Abortion is a sad and an unfortunate thing to go through I suppose, but otherwise a totally useful modern medical procedure.
Now uhhh.. adoption?
Should be more widespread and possibly an easier process, though that would be walking a fine line.
Voluntary sterilization.
Voluntary? Perfectly fine. It's a more extreme contraceptive, but a contraceptive nonetheless.
Welfare equality.
Unfeasible. I prefer a negative income tax system.
Genetic modification.
In plants and whatnot, fine. In animals, fine, as long as it doesn't cause pain/harm (this train of thought leads to animal cruelty, different issue.) Humans, well, in the future I supposed once it's viable It'll be a revolutionary issue with a lot of controversial opinions, including stuff like "perfect babies" and involvement of epigenetic manipulation is something else. But now I'm rambling.
Drug laws.
Soft drugs could be allowed, but had to have more expanded laws for similar types of drugs. They could be taxed slightly.
Gun Control/Laws

Gun Control/Laws[/QUOTE]
I don't think we need more gun control than we have now, I think it's fine.
Laws are pretty nice, they keep society in control. (why did you seperate them)
Israel
Isreal should annex Palestinia, or Hamas should be evicted.
Gun control
Needs to focus more on ending the black market than banning stuff
Climate change
Mostly a scare, but I do believe it is a problem we should look at solving together with the rising prices and scarecety of fossil fuels.
Lack of objectivity in news media.
A shame, most news sources are pretty objective when it comes to their stories, and if you care about your news you can identify which is which
the state of Facepunch as a forum
Declining.
Flaws/Alternatives in the (first world) political systems.
Greatly exaggerated
Freedom of speech
Not so free.
Targeting assault weapons.
Pointless, wasteful and counter-intuitive
Religion
A powerful tool in manipulation and helping people deal with tough situations.
Greek Facism.
Ninja'd, please respond to guy above me.
Uncalled for.
Cannabis legalisation.
An idea that should be common sense. Prohibition of something for the sake of morality never works. Booze for example.
Malian Conflict and French intervention.
I don't know enough about it to have an immediate opinion.
The global human population
Too damn high
Loss of the Brazillian Rainforests.
Steps need to be taken to lessen the destruction of them and other rainforests around the world
The two party system.
Hugely detrimental to democracy, polarizes the population.
Political absentism/apathy.
Understandable, but voting should be considered a duty of every citizen - Even if it's simply to choose the lesser of evils.

Rising powers: China and India.
Only a threat to the current market(aka how much the earth can support)
North Korea.
North Korea hasn't done anything, 95% of what we hear about them is made up, they have just been hunkering down building up their military for the last 60 years expecting the west to come in and shove their throbbing freedom cock into them any moment and the time has finally come, rip Best Korea
Compulsory education
Should stop being such a big issue.
Judaism.
Just another one of those religions.
Regulation on business.
