Techno or Trance? - General

I prefer Trance. Which one do [b]YOU[/b] prefer? Also, i don't include "other" option as this thread is directed to those that listen this type of music more.

Techno, heavier and better melody. Trance is too... Light and happy.

And Trance has a clear melody. Techno is just BEATS BEATS MOAR BEATS!!!!!!!111 I like trance as long as there's no singing. That kinda ruins many songs for me =(

The right Techno is good. (I don't listen to it that much but it's not bad) The shit type with just Bass constantly is horrible, like those Clubland Albums they make, they suck dick

While I respect both music types, I'm not a fan of either. I'd have to go with techno though.

Techno is far too wide a term to compare it to Trance. Trance, even though it has variations, is a set genre, where as Techno can range from Detroit House to modern Dub-step.
