As the original demographic buyers of the wii get older, the console and its content matures with it.
FUCK YEAH
one step closer to valve games on a nintendo console
Havok was used in games like BioShock, and to make Stormtroopers hilariously cling on for dear life in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
That was Euphoria, wasn't it?

Yeah, that's what I've heard too.
All physics engines are interchangable though right? I mean, it's just physics, not rocket science. v:v:v
Meanwhile, in 2006...

How? I presume Valve would have their own license so why do they need one from Nintendo? Plus, the version of Havok in Source is ridiculously old.
Source is ridiculously old.
That too.
Now lets hope Nintendo will change the name of the WiiU to something better.

Euphoria isn't a physics engine.
Euphoria isn't a physics engine.
I know, it's an animation engine, but a lot of its more obvious features pertain to ragdolls (ie, storm troopers grabbing onto shit while they're flying away). I'm just saying that if it can get confused with Havok there must be a link there.

How can content made for 50-70 year olds going to mature with the buyer?
That was Euphoria, wasn't it?
because software never updates with time :downs:
That was Euphoria, wasn't it?
Euphoria is an animation middleware software, meaning that it's meant to be integrated with a separate physics engine. SW:FU used Havok, and GTA IV used Bullet Physics.
Apparently Nintendo has already used Havok in SSBB.
Yes but this is so they can hand out licenses to third party software providers.
