I hate how they still have overall lives. They should just give you five or so lives per level and if you lose them all you have to start from the mission start.
How is Omochao anything but a massive negative and incentive not to preorder?
Who is going to order something most Sonic fans hated? This is the worst pre-order bonus ever

It's just something thrown in as a bonus when you pre-order. Which I'm perfectly fine with
It's not like they are pushing pre-orders with "special" maps, weapons, or dlc and crap. It's just there if you pre-order anyways.
Lives are a concept that should've died alongside the arcade.

People who pre-order anywhere are going to get the Deadly Six Edition of the game, which comes with the first DLC set (special wisps powerups and NIGHTS levels) for free.

Stay away from my Donkey Kong Country Returns you monster. I need every last one of those fucking things I can scrape up.
[QUOTE]Sega's Aaron Webber told Kotaku that selling extra lives "will never be a thing in a Sonic game. The extra lives are a way to let you have a bit more fun being reckless if you want to be. So uh... I guess we kinda are selling lives actually."

Lives mechanics are pointless in today's modern gaming. When will SEGA ever make Sonic game with unlimited tries? I mean their games are so easy that you could racked up lives up to a hundred. They should get rid of limited lives mechanics.
