Here's what I'm set on so far. GPU $270 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127608 Processor $280 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.757242 Ram ~$100 I want 16GB ram, 4X4GB, but there's too many choices that I'm not sure which ones to get. I need help choosing a motherboard, power supply, hard drive (500GB or 1TB), any case reccomendations, and anything else I'm missing? This will probably end up being over $1000 by about $100 at least. Thanks

I already have the OS, I want a 500GB or 1TB hard drive depending on the budget, but I don't want an SSD yet. And I already have a keyboard, mouse, and monitor, and I can pick up a dvd drive from any store.
He mentioned hard drives, and considering he picked a double VRAM 2GB GTX 560 Ti(which is a waste BTW, get the 6950 2GB Dirt 3 edition from Sapphire, it unlocks to a 6970) and he also picked an Intel 2600. That sounds like a machine meant for rendering or something, and there are situations where he may indeed need a lot of RAM.

And plus RAM is really cheap so I might as well get some.

go with an i5-2500K and use the money saved to upgrade to a 570, since you're spending that much for a 560 ti you're spending extra money for an i7 for no real reason if this machine is just for gaming
and 16GB is a complete waste of money for gaming, 8 is already far more than you need but the difference between 4 and 8 is pocket change
Although it is your PC and I respect that, I would definitely say to ditch the 16GB of RAM for 4GB or 8GB and then use the spare money somewhere else. Also, I would definitely invest in a 1TB HDD, I got mine in August and I only have 109GB left on it (although my fraps folder is over 600GB, so that is a major factor).
For $1000 you could get this, Just threw in Windows7 incase you don't have an OS. And look you even get a 570 instead of a ridiculously priced 560 ti. and the 2700k wont even give you big performance jump in games, and the 2500k is out of stock yet again so the 2500 is just a placeholder. is this good? i made it barely under $1K only thing that's missing is a hard drive, but i can harvest the one from my current computer
ease down on the RAM, really refer here: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1144129?p=33501679&viewfull=1#post33501679 If no HDD needed then it's ~$750 from Microcenter or $850 on Newegg
