If, for some inexplicable reason, you are already own the original but want a second slightly improved version, you can get it at a discounted price. Not being a fan of Human Revolution, I can't fathom why you'd do that, but it's nice to see Square Enix thinking about previous purchasers.
Quality journalism here.
I got all the pre order stuff when I bought it on steam, on sale even. I didn't mind the golden/yellow hue over everything, I somewhat liked it even. Definitely interested in how the changed up the boss fights, I had to quit for a while because I got stuck on a boss fight since I was built for stealth and hacking, not combat. I actually just finished the game, and when I closed out I got a pop up saying this had been released.

"You can buy it if, like, you're stupid or something."
Pretty much they shouldn't be charging money to everyone who already has everything. Instead of 75% off, it should be 100%.

Except the Directors Cut adds stuff like dev commentary and modified boss fights, along with some visual changes. Five dollars for those is perfectly fine.
I can get the 75% discount but I played through it a second time and got all of the achievements a few weeks ago, blegh.
Can somebody post a video of how they changed the boss fights? I want to see if it's worth the money

That's literally all I care about.
Ugh, why does it have the Human Revolution release day stuttering issue. Its next to unplayable for me at the moment.
Well the new ways of doing the boss fights are meant to be viable options for someone who's stealthed through the game and doesn't have the firepower to handle the bosses via normal means.
And I don't see why you're whining about the outcomes of the boss fights. Deus Ex 1 had boss fights and you couldn't really affect the outcome of those fights unless you used glitches.

Well to be fair the way boss fights were handled were a bit better in the original. Bosses could be killed at multiple parts of the story depending on how you approach it. For example, Navarre could be killed on the plane or killed later. Herrman can be ignored entirely and be fought twice.

He is meant to die in the Cathedral though, since the game treats him as dead thereafter.

I tried to make a comment on the site pointing that out, it got deleted.
Quality site admining too.
Doesn't the guy behind PCGamesN occasionally respond on here?
I'm calling you out, asshat.
He said he didn't enjoy Human Revolution so his opinion is shit to begin with.
Haha, I guess he saw the thread, they added the comment back.
I like how the only way to get the Missing Link now is to buy the Director's Cut.
Damnit, I want original boss-fights.
I bought it again regardless! One of my favourite games ever.
apparently the performance and graphics are worse than the original HR

LOL they lowered the resolution on the textures into the ground.
