If you've only got the base game, I suggest getting complete anyway. First, you'll get a boatload of new content, but most importantly the dev seems to have only rolled bugfixes into G&K and BNW. Which was a dick move.
Grab the 2 expansions, they make the game so much better and right now they're dirt cheap.
Brave New World has all the new features like religion except for the GnK civs
Edit: The sale was literally over by the time this was posted :p
